Colourful and floaty dresses are essential in my summer wardrobe and I can’t imagine surviving warm months without them. However, since I’m still not exactly back to my pre-pregnancy figure and I don’t want to spend lots of money on new clothes, I often look out for new pieces in places you wouldn’t normally shop for a new wardrobe – like supermarkets. Sounds strange? That’s what I thought until I saw what one of them had to offer this season.
George is Asda’s clothing line and it is getting more and more popular. I can totally see why – check out these lovely pieces! I adore these pastel coloured T-shirt dresses – they have this 1960s vibe that I would wear to barbecues and summer parties.I’m still a big fan of patterns on dresses but I am slowly moving on to more ‘adult’ prints, such as checks and stripes. While a black and white striped dress is very classic, this checked number is my favourite – I would team it up with a leather jacket and ankle boots once the weather cools down.
These last dresses are perfect for holidays and as beach cover-ups. Since I’m not going anywhere exotic this year I can only dream of how I would accessorise these little numbers.
And the best thing about all of these clothes? Their price tags! They are so cheap that I can see myself buying a couple of them without feeling guilty of spending too much money on a new wardrobe.
