Last weekend I visited the V&A museum to check out two exhibitions – a collection of famous wedding dresses and A History of Photography. While both were very interesting it was the actual museum that left me in awe. The never-ending decorative hallways, rooms full of incredible artefacts and decorative stairways provided the perfect backdrop for photos.
For this ocassion I opted out for a bit more dressy, yet very comfortable outfit. The classic trench coat, the old and trustworthy pleated skirt (also seen in this post), a super soft checked shirt and a new pair of ankle boots (a girl can never have to many pairs of those, right?) were the perfect elements to create this look. I also added my new favourite red lipstick and a black fedora hat that kept my hair in place despite the wind, plus it provided a bit of shade since it was a glorious and sunny day.
After the museum I enjoyed a stroll through Chelsea, had a lovely lunch and even more delicious cake and coffee. What a perfect way to end a week.
