This past Tuesday me, my friend Phili and her two friends joined the madness around Oxford Circus and immersed ourselves into the annual Vogue’s Fashion Night Out. First time I went to FNO was two years ago and I enjoyed it so much I had to go back this year! I knew there would be plenty to see and the atmosphere would not disappoint.
We first headed to Selfridges to see what was going on. And there was… a lot! Manicures at the Chanel counter, make-overs at MAC, Laura Mercier, Illamasqua and other make up brands, skin consultations etc. The girls had their consultations at Laura Mercier, whilst I was snapping pictures.
After a hefty dose of beauty we made a move to the Reiss store – just in time for their catwalk (stairwalk?) show… and complimentary champagne.
The new autumn collection is so stunning – I was mesmerised by all the pieces, especially dusty pink coat, black jumpsuits and cocktail dresses.
Our next stop was House of Fraser – the music was pumping and there was a lot of going on. We walked around the beauty counters and found Nails Inc, who were doing manicures with a complimentary glass of champagne. How could I say no to that?
I chose two shades from the new collection designed by Alexa Chung – Silk and Sequin. They complimented each other wonderfully. See the finished result here.
Our last stop of the night was & Other Stories. Oh, how I loved their mint and navy colour palette…
And their hats!
All in all it was a great night full of fashion, beauty, champagne and giggles. What more would a girl want?
